CARLEX is Hiring a Production Supervisor Near Nashville, TN
- Assure that all production, quality and breakdown information is clearly communicated to the next shift supervisor and team leaders
- Cooperate with Human Resources to make employment decisions, including recruiting, interviewing and selection
- Coach and counsel crew members in areas such as safety, performance, attendance, training, housekeeping / 5S and quality to ensure understanding and compliance of company requirements
- Participate in disciplinary procedures when violations occur.
- Lead team meetings over communicating quality and production information from the previous shift and other relevant information from other departments
- Coordinate work assignments for team members
- Perform departmental audits in areas of safety, training and quality to support company needs, and develop countermeasures when required
- Actively participate in injury reports, including near misses, investigations and
- Help resolve any injury related issues, including, but not limited to, engineering controls and employee training
- Process payroll and attendance data frequently
- Review production data turned in from each operator
- Assist in preventive maintenance of equipment
- Assist in union issues that may arise, including conducting work activities within the confines of the CBA
- Visit customer to discuss quality issues
